Sports Coaching

Figure Skating: I have been coaching figure skating for 9 years, after taking to the ice myself at age 7. I’ve coached Learn to Skates, private lessons, and synchronized skating teams. I am certified through with a Professional Membership through Ice Skating Institute (ISI).
Roller Blading: The perfect fall, spring, and summer activity for all ages. I taught myself how to roller blade as a teenager to account for the times I felt like figure skating but couldn’t make it to the rink. Now, I love teaching my skating tips and tricks to my students.

Swim Lessons: I have been teaching swim lessons for 5 years and have experience working at a town lake, school pool, and sleep-away summer camp. I am certified through Red Cross with a Water Safety Instructor certification and enjoy volunteering my time to help with weekend swim meets and events.
Hockey Edge: I was trained to coach hockey edge at my local skating rink in Concord, MA. Hockey players develop exceptionally stick handling, shooting, and passing skills, but often they do not work on skating skills during practice. My coaching focuses on edges, turns, power skating, and backwards skating, to develop strong basics to the sport.
Service Learning
As Village School Service Learning Lead, I coordinated mentorship programs between our upper school students and village school students, organized community involvement experiences, collaborated on expanding opportunities through our Annual Fund and coached student leaders to share their experiences with the wider School community.
